Research

My research interests are in the field of Conservation Physiology:

  • studying the ways animals are built and how they function

  • predicting how animals will interact with their changing environments

  • informing management decisions, especially for endangered species

​

I primarily focus on aquatic species, particularly marine mammals.

Currently, I am using drones and oceanographic sampling to study the health of baleen whales in Atlantic Canada.
