While the imagery I collect is primarily for my research, I realize that it often showcases the majestic beauty or silent tragedy of these animals.  Below are some images that seem to transcend the science and become more than just datapoints for my thesis.  I hope you enjoy them and are inspired to spread awareness about the issues facing marine mammals, particularly the North Atlantic right whale.

All photos were taken by me (unless noted otherwise) under permits from Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the UNB Animal Care Committee.  I have an advanced certification to operate drones in Canada through Transport Canada.
