While the imagery I collect is primarily for my research, I realize that it often showcases the majestic beauty or silent tragedy of these animals.  Below are some images that seem to transcend the science and become more than just datapoints for research.  I hope you enjoy them and are inspired to spread awareness about the issues facing marine mammals, particularly the North Atlantic right whale.

All photos were taken by me (unless noted otherwise) under necessary permits.  I have a drone operators license in both Canada and the United States.
